The State dendrological Park “Ascania-Nova" was founded by Fridrich Edward Faltz-Fein in 1887. Its plantations reflect achievements of Park Building of the end of the 19-th century and nowadays. It’s unique as the only irrigated Park in the steppe South of Ukraine where there’s no natural arboreal vegetation. Here there are miraculous landscapes that make impression of fragments of natural forest. It’s pleasant to walk down the sand pathways in the shadow of crowns of secular plantations to the accompaniment of numerous creeks with pure cold artesian water that sprinkle Park lands. Observing of the Park is made on foot along pedestrian pathways with the assistance of tour guide. Duration of the trip is 2,5 hours.
